Challenges facing youths in the society and how to solve them.

CHALLENGES FACING YOUTHS IN THE TODAY’S SOCIETY AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM.

Youths are the most important age group in the society since they always have enough strength to perform duties that the old feel tired of. They are mostly regarded as Creative, Innovative, Self-driven and other names that feel good when pronounced for their sake. Now, despite all these, as a way of nature like other age groups, youth hood also come with its own challenges. Due to the fact that, it is the most active age group ranging from 18 - 35 years of age, as they said that Something good has its own disadvantages, youths face so much challenges that in case you are not strong as one the youths, you actually end up living a miserable life in the society and the worst thing is that the government always fail to recognize leaving them with no option than giving in to these challenges. We understand that as human beings, challenges are there to strengthen us but to some extent, it turns into a disadvantage to many, in the society today.

To the youths, you need to check on these challenges and know well how to deal with them. You should also know that according statistics, youth hood is the most critical age since if you are not careful, your brain will be at risk and that why most of the mad people on the street are youths, if you never knew then that is a fact. I want you to stay wide eyes open and ensure that by reading this, you fully understand how to deal with them. Here is the list of the challenges that you should take your time to peruse into your life and see if they are affecting you and also how to face them with courageous aim of solving it.

1.      Substance abuse

Well, I know that you already have a vague idea about what it means by abusing substances. It simply means, using substances in a wrong way without considering its side effects in the body system. A lot of youths are affected by this as a result of peer pressures, which drive them into these without knowing. It is a challenge that comes with addiction that is to mean that, once you are in, you actually tend to forget your way out. A lot of youths indulge into this with many mindsets, some, to be superior, some to be seen as a grown up etc. Speaking of solving, now, solving this may be difficult to some of the youths since it involves a process that they easily fail to complete. Things like quitting drug abuse is not just a walk in the pack, it requires patience and perseverance and above you need to make a strong U-turn against the drugs. So try this if you are already to change it and you will see a difference in your life starting from this time. Quit them slowly but sure, that is, if used to take 10 rolls of bhang, try reducing it by one after every 3 days, that is an example of substances abused in the society and is also the most abused. In short, have a pattern for the success.

2.      Lack of employment in the society

It is a pity that despite the fact that our youths are the most active, in the society today, they are the most disadvantaged since most of the job opportunities are given to the elderly, those are should have retired by now with a reason to state that they do not have the required experience for the job in question. Now, the question is, then how can you gain experience if you cannot work to be able to be accepted to work in a certain company.

Does it mean that, our school no longer provides keys to success through education or, where exactly should these so called experience come from if not only through what we tend to value more in the name of education. Take a look back in the days when the parents could push us to perform well in school, now on completion we still have no difference with the times when we not educated. That scenario proves the reason as to why education is no longer important. Now will this be solved, most youths have taken it their hands to let school be aside as they struggle with their hustles because they is no longer no point of going to school if your main mission and reason why, is not catered for.

My suggestion is that, the government should look into the matter and create an opportunity so that education do not seem to be meaningless. At list build more companies and employ as many youths as possible.

3.      Health

This is another problem that mostly affects not only the youths but also the society as a whole. Take a look at the availability of the hospitals we have mostly in the rural, are they reachable, of course not. You must survive a long distance before you could get to the gate, and the worst of it is that, on arriving, you still have to queue as you wait for your chance to be served. To the government, the fact has become their points campaign to gain them a chance into the respective seats and the painful side of it is that, after their success into the office, their diseases are now treated abroad and our hospitals that we depend on still remains in the same situation.

The hospitals have less personnel to serve that is the reason for the queuing for long and to those whose cases are more critical end up may be worsening or even losing their lives inside those we call hospitals. Again, who will save us out of this, when we can’t employ more youths who have graduated in those fields and the ones that are said to have no experience?

My suggestion is that whenever we elect people, lets not elect manifestoes let’s elect the personalities that we think can help us especially those who considers the youth’s affairs because they are the strongholds of the society tomorrow when the aged cannot anymore.

4.      Education systems

This is another factor that is discouraging the youths due to its requirements that most youths are unable to meet as a result of poverty and other disadvantages in association. It has enabled the long stay in schools that in the end of completion, you end up working for a short period of time before the so called government regulations throw you into retirement, that is, if you succeed to be employed in a government sector. We thought they are introduced into education sector to improve learning which by now, its disadvantage has over weighed the advantages.  The systems we have in the education sector is good but the government should check the statistics, most students are dropping out of schools and the system is one of the reasons for it.

5.      Lack of food

Food is something that is most demanded for, and it is needed in the body system for growth purposes. Also in order to hustle successfully you need it as it motivates you into hustling. Most youths find it hard to provide for themselves after being unable to depend on their parents who are also finding it hard to provide basic needs in the respective houses. The condition is tough as you become too weak even to work harder. The question is, where should gain support if the leaders they elected no longer listen to them and if they help, it is by the fact of connection where those who do not have their connection into the office, then their hope is automatically destroyed.

The solution to this is with the leaders we elect, it would be well if they realize that the office belongs to the citizens and whenever they decide to throw you out of it, then you will automatically say no to getting back in the next election so they should serve the citizens not their relatives.
