General skills you should have by the time you get out of college that can earn you some cash.

   Having skills at hand is always an important thing because you never know when they will be required by either you, place you work, or even by the interview you wish to attempt. Many people have failed interviews because they lack some general skills, some that I am going to explain to you here. These skills are always are very important since they help in managing your expenses, that is, having them saves you some cash that can purchase something much great to you. It’s also wonderful that some college courses cover them as units. But what do you do if your course does not entail these? That is when you trust this article.

   We have very many skills that are helpful but today I am just to talk of few of them that matter most. So I would urge you to take this article seriously to avoid, losing a job interview or being useless at your work place. At work, having qualified for the job is not always enough until you have some handy skills with you, without which you become useless to the company you work in. So here are 8 general skills you need to have by the time you get out of college;

1.     Fix your worn out cloth

   This a skill that you need at hand the reason being is that cloths you put on are always nice while they are whole on you, but becomes useless when it has finally worn out and now it has developed some holes that you can see through. As a college student you should be able to fix the holes without giving away some cash. This is something that is required on demand by you or by your company. The best part of it is that you could turn it into a career instead of having to spend some cash on it. Is it not great that you can you can make money without having to go in search of the job you wish to get you money.

   So as a college student, be on the lookout for such a skill, you never know when its service may be required and that will give you an opportunity.

2.     Learn how to personally connect your home theater system

     It is a surprise that most of people do not how to connect their radio systems themselves, they have to call for an engineer who fixes for them and is also fair that having graduated, the society always expect much from you other than just your career. Unless you have some skills associated with it, then you automatically went to study nothing, the society believes so. So having this skills will automatically promote you just being a graduate into being an engineer, isn’t it amazing?

   As a college student you should also be able to turn this opportunity into small cash that can purchase you something small to support yourself with as you wait for the phone call they said they will call you at the interview remember. At list stand up from the crowd and shine with such a simple idea.

3.     Wash your cloths

    This will surprise you by the fact that some college students have little knowledge on how to wash their cloths sparkly clean. These are the kind of people who the society call ‘lazy’ since they prefer to pay for their cloths to be clean. Now as a college student who is still looking for somewhere to fix yourself  in the name of a job. You can take advantage of these people since they have money to offer in the name of you washing their cloths.

    This goes to those ladies who feel so special that washing their own cloths tend to waste their precious time. The question is, is this not part of what will make you a wife to someone may be in some days to come?

4.     Write a letter

   Nowadays producing a CV is not enough to earn you a job opportunity until you attach a letter on it that says you are in need of the job and how you will improve the company. Are you aware that there is somebody somewhere who doesn’t know how to write this letter? Well in case you don’t know then take this as a surprise to you because it is an opportunity if you have the skill of formulating this kind of a letter. Advertise yourself on social media as the guru in this and the customers will come from there to give you cash that you don’t struggle for.

   Write many designs as possible and you will see wonders in it. Many graduates fail the job opportunities due to this kind of incompleteness, you have a good cv but now you cannot be able such a simple letter. So think of it as a college student before you go out shouting that there are no jobs for the youths in the country. Wake up and let the ones who are still In need of some sleep as you crave for your success.

5.     Trim your fence

   Do you have an idea that such a skill is needed on demand in the society? Then take a look around in the village where you come from, how are the fences are they trimmed? If yes, then do you know who trims them, do you know that you can train yourself into this and grab the opportunity with your two hands and never let go of it. To the gentlemen, I guess your parent does not expect to pay someone to trim the fence when he sees you within doing nothing other than waiting for a phone call after an interview you went through some months ago.

   As a college student, do it to your level best that other people sees it as if it was done by an alien. By this, you will draw attention of the others who also want their fences to look the same as yours and they will come looking for the person who trimmed it and that would be you. Then it’s the time to turn into a cash opportunity, try it that way.

6.     Install Computer applications

  I know someone might come asking, how is this going to help you out? Well having the ability to install computer apps makes you stand up from the crowd without even knowing it. It is better that some people not know how to do this, and that is where your skill is now needed. By is installing an application on someone’s computer can earn you some quick cash before you even realize it. Learn it now because it is still not too late.

7.     Savings

   Well, this might not be an income opportunity but can help you manage what you spend your cash on. It will actually direct you on what to purchase and what not to purchase. Having such a skill makes helpful not only to you but also to others at the place of work or even at home. It is something that most people have no idea, they simply use the cash because they have it and tomorrow they are down. Since you cannot advice someone on how to use his or her cash, they can trust you with their cash which makes you a different person from the crowd. Train yourself on this and you will see the difference between your old self and now your reborn self.

8.     Choose leaders

   Having the ability to study some qualities you need from someone you expect to lead your future is something good since your future freedom depends on the leaders you choose today. As a college student, the society expects you to be able to advise them on who to elect and who not to elect since they believe in your experience as something who has gone to school and it is bad that some will tend to blame it on you if the leader they choose turns out to have less qualities they expected.

 

This is an advice, to my fellow youths in the country, I beg of you to find yourself and what you can do other than just waiting for job opportunities most of which never turn positive.
